I am looking for accurate information on locomotive rosters of shortlines in michigan, indiana, ohio, tennessee and illinois. Does anyone know if TP&W has a GP20 with road number of 2058?

According to my 2003 edition of "The Official Locomotive Rosters & News" by James W. Kerr, TP&W number 2058 is actually a GP20M. This is a great book to own for just such situations. You can see the 2004 edition at Historic Rail.

TP&W is now owned by company which owns about 50 shortlines called either RailAmerica or RailsAmerica

You're correct, it's RailAmerica (http://www.railamerica.com/).

When I'm back in the office tomorrow, I have to look to see if that book lists all of RailAmerica's properties' fleets separately.
