No Time To Cry

Hello

I am a new AC, and last night we...
hit a man...

someone who I did not know before...
but who will forever be part of my life....
was our meeting an accident or not?

only he will know for sure..

as part of procedure, I ended up spending quite a bit of time with this man...
this was when the experts started piecing together his last night....

I have been through this before, in my former life...
trying to put the pieces together, trying to answer the question of ...why?

I will return to work, and I will go on with my life ...

but it was today, when I heard a child cry...
he cried because he was hurt...
It was then that I realized that if this man had made a honest mistake, he had no time to cry...
no time to say good-bye...he was just gone...forever....

those who cared for this man will always remember him as he was...

as will I .
