Z Controller Versus Lionel Transformer
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 4, 2008 6:06 PM

Hi, newbie here, wonderful forum by the way.

My question is I have a MTH Zcontroller with a direction/bell/whistle and a Lionel Transformer, newer model, with the same button arrangement. I have just purchased a 2005 Steelers MTH Steam Ready to Run set that plays SUperbowl play by play and other stuff and was curious if I use the Lionel Transformer with the Railking Train will the button arrangement do the same thing and the zController? Basically are the two diffrent transformer/controllers the same thing and will both operate the train the same way? Also do they make a quick connect for a zcontroller for a Lionel fast track? Thanks.
