does anyone know what the future is for the old TPW track that runs from La Harpe, IL to FT. Madison,IA?

Suggest that you check www.stb.dot.gov under "decisions and notices". There was something recently about a scrap company buying the TP&W West of Peoria and leasing back to the Kepkuk Junction, but I do not recall the details.
