Cleveland in 1978
Posted by Erie Lackawanna on Sunday, November 25, 2007 11:57 PM

Here are three shots from a trip to Cleveland between X-Mas and New Years, back in 1978.  I'd just learned to drive at the time, and spent a couple days driving my friend's dad's Chevy Malibu through the snow storms and drifts.

This is an Elkhart to Syracuse train coming into the yard.

Here's an ex EL C424 drilling (wish this one had turned out sharper - one of my favorite railroads and favorite units).

Lastly, a U25C leading an East St. Louis to Selkirk run.  (This image was shared on the six-axle thread yesterday, so you may have seen it already.)

Thanks for looking, and corrections are welcome.
