The 89 is the 12 cylinder version of the H block (actually, crankcase) engine. It produces about 4500 HP and the 16 Cyl H block produces 6000 HP and is know as the SD90.

Just wondering if the "SD89MAC" is now the SD70ACe...because in photos this looks extremely similer.
