Trains on TV Last Night
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 4:03 PM
[8D][:D] Last night was a great night for trains seen on TV! I was watching TLC's Mega Machines and they were talking about UP's rotary snow plow. Man, that thing was cool!

Also, on the Discovery Channel, the show Mythbusters was at a Railroad museum out in California. The museum had a lot of SP equipment.

I was like a kid in a candy store! It was a good night of TV for Me![:D]

The episode of " Mythbusters " was taped at the Goldengate RR Museum at the old Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco, Ca. [8D][:D] Those guys are nuts. As for the UP rotary I missed that.[}:)] Pentrex had a great video called California Rotary Action. It focuses on the UP rotary # 900080, which is now sitting in Roseville collecting rust[:0]

Also on last night's "Antique's Roadshow" they visited the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry's mammoth HO model railroad layout. That thing is HUGE!
