Kathi Kube (K K) [:D]

Do anyone ever say what the problem was yesterday about posting in the Humor Thread? Why were some people allowed to post while others could not?

Is David V. on vacation or sick?

Tell Erik, I said, "Happy Belated Birthday". [;)]

I haven't heard back from you on the msn project. Please drop me an email, and give me (hopefully) the good news.

Yeah, I was just thinking that very thing...

About an inch of snow here later.

Cherokee woman? I STRONGLY dislike cold weather, too. And how did I end up in Milwaukee????

Ed [8D]

I thought you were using your "Weather Rock". Don't know what happened to mine, I think some jealous neighbor took a liking to it. Maybe they needed to know the weather more than I did.

With my knees I can do pretty well in the forecast department, right Kathi Kube?

You know, that sounds like a swell idea, I see i've created my own language now... ehy if they have the Kelvin messurment, they can have the Kevin messurment, I think it will sell, do'nt you, its a swell idea too! Seeing as i'm into a rhyming mood

Ed you and your 70 degree weather,..... baa humbug to you!

up here, how do I say it politely...

"C'est Crue en Tabarnack!"

Translation... It's F%^$^#$ COLD!

I figured i don't need a thermometer to tell me the obvious, It's sunny cloudy or Rainy...for the winds: Windy or not windy , and to tell the temperature it's either Bikini weather or not bikini weather.

for those of you under 2 years of age, and are reading this I said... IT'S FUZZY DUCKING COLD!

Kevin,
Go to your local top quality hardware store.
Buy the three pack weather guage.
Temp, barometric pressure and humidity.
Put it outside.
Ok, put it outside of your house, apartment or igloo.
Be sure an put it some place you can read it, faceing your window.
Last time I looked, they dont have them in Kevin, just English and French.

Of course, us old guys just stick our thumb in the air.
We get high and low air temp, humidity, wind direction, barometric pressure
the next days forcast and when the sun will rise that way.

Down here, there will be heavy fog in the morning, sunrise at 6:43am, high temp 70 degrees, low 52.
Southeastwind 2 to 7 mph.
Relative humidity this afternoon 58%.
Tomorrow, pretty much the same.
All this from a thumb.[:D]
Stay Frosty,
Ed

Hey D A N,

Don't you think that -40 is just about right to "freeze the balls off a brass monkey?"

(For those of you who don't know, that statement is not dirty. Just read the last 5 or so pages of the Humor Thread and see.)

KevMacMan, I sincerely hope you enjoy your "heat wave". It is after 1 am and it is 52 here. I think I might open a window for some nice fresh air. [:)]

Hey Dan, how is YOUR weather now?

How does Ed know that, you stick your thumb in the air, and you can automatically tell the humidity percentage?

I bet, if you all had Cable or DSL, you could access every page! people who have dial up are using primitaive old school stuff. maybe thats why, I wonder who has DSL (I do) if anyone else has a problem..

I still stand by firmly that you have to be funny to post on the humor thread, i'm no Chris rock, but i'm getting there.. thats why I have no problem.

Just ta let ya know, its 76 here, bright clear day, no clouds, can see from the mountains all the way to the ocean.

Nice and unseasonably warm, just waiting for that earthquake I know is coming.....

Well, good news and bad news. Good: It's not a huge, major problem that's taking the site down or preventing lots of people from logging on etc. The bad news is, it's not a huge problem and, therefore, much harder to find.

Erik's looking into it, but it's kinda like finding a needle in a haystack. One thing he suggests, though, is that maybe people affected should try restarting their computers. As far as we can tell, it seems to be affecting just Dan and Jim. Is anyone else having problems with that thread? Or, maybe it's just time to start a "Humor Thread II?"

Sorry I don't have better news for y'all.

By the way, it's 27 degrees here in Waukesha, and we're looking at high 20s, low 30s the rest of the week. Not nearly as cold as Quebec, but not as balmy as Lincoln, either.

I know, it's a conspiracy, yeah, that's it, it's a conspiracy. Kev, and L C are paying me back. [}:)] [;)]

I just pulled up the humor thread. It looked normal, UNTIL I hit the reply to topic button, then all H * * * broke loose. I still can't post. Why can some people post, and not others?

This happened one other time in history - for some reason the right hand ads just disappear and go off the monitor and down the table to the floor. Which isn't all bad. But they take the post new reply button with them. It is a "Bergie Bad", so he will have to "fix" it - or maybe not.

I'll call Erik and see if one of our computer gurus can figure out what's up here.

I'll letcha know what I hear...
