The Baldwin Locos for the X train were also in the McGinnis paint.

Don't forget the ex-Virginian, ex-N&W E-33 rectifier electrics, with some beautiful pictures of them in a recent TRAINS. Some 4400 washboard mu's did have the orange stripe, but it was applied to all the postwar fluted coaches and parlors and parlor-baggage (combines, all the postwar combines were parlor-baggage!) cars and diners and grill cars, Were the postwar coaches in the 8600 series or 8500? Also some fluted-side sleepers, Pullman-built, not Budd, the 10 and 6's, had the orange stripe, plus a few 8200 prewar "American Flyers" kept their green, but had an orange stripe through the window area. These were not always the 8200's that got an interior redo to match the postwar cars; it seemed the selection was random. Again, after the D&RGW, my favorite railroad. Dave

One DL-109 out of all 60 of New Haven's DL-109s were painted in the McGinnis color scheme.

Connecticut DOT/Metro North railroad presently also have at least 4) GE Genesis P32AC-DM units in the "McGinnis scheme". These units serve Connecticut's New Haven non-electrified Waterbury and Danbury lines and are frequently used on MetroNorth's Hudson line. Connecticut DOT also has/had a GP7, 3) GP38's and presently operates 2) F7's and 6) GP40-2H's (HEP) in the McGuinnes scheme. These units serve the Shore Line East Railroad east of New Haven with some service west to Stamford.

For the fun of it, the McG livery of Red/Black/White was also applied to NH's Fairbanks-Morse CPA24-5 C-Liners and Alco's B units. A simplified version was used on the unique Fairbanks-Morse P12-42 diesels for the 'Quincy Adam's' and again, the colors and block N over H logo were applied to RDC car ends and most 4400 'washboard' MU series coach cars. Some PA1's also wore the McGinnis scheme. We really need to agree on a definition of the McGinnis scheme since hood units had several variations of orange, white and black.

Is there a list with all engines of New Haven that weares the McGinnis Scheme? I just know the EP-5, EP-2 and FL-9. Any else?
