A friend of mine just sent me a picture of 10 CORP engines pulling a train south from Medford, Oregon.  The lead unit is #3823.

There is a similar type photo on page 24 of the Nov, Trains Magazine. caption:....."an SD90MAC/4300 and AC4400CW ferry 16 UP SD90MACs to Denver."

I thought I first saw this picture on RailPictures.net, before I saw it in any Trains publication. I looked and, sure enough, here it is: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=158502&nseq=2
Long live the BNSF .... AND its paint scheme. SchemerBob

This must be the photo you're refering to:

Those are GE Evolution series locos, not sure whether they're 40's or 44's, AC or DC but they're certainly not EMD's.

I believe the picture you are referring to is a very long string of brand spanking new SD70ACE units being ferried east and "broken in" on the coal train you see in the picture after being delivered from EMD in London, Ontario, Canada back about two years or so ago.

BNSF Picture On Trains.com Website
Posted by Doc Murdock on Monday, October 15, 2007 1:09 AM
Sometimes when I enter trains.com website I notice a picture of about 10 BNSF engines at the top of the page. It looks as if the train is hauling coal cars. Does anyone here know anything about this particular picture, where it is taken or what is being hauled?
