Very cool videos.

The guys over at http://sptco.proboards107.com would enjoy seeing them.  This is a web site thats only about the Southern Pacific.

Chad, the second video is the "East Side Main" North of Roseville.  I believe the train was heading North -- I could not determine the precise area, but it was between vicinity of Chico and Redding.

It does not look like anywhere south of Stockton. Perhaps it is Oregon or the Sacramento Valley.

Yea Eric, Now that I think about it it probably is the northern end of the valley, otherwise 99 would be seen.
