And once I do.......There will be all steam passenger service to compete with Amtrak and new paint schemes to reflect the fallen flags. And once I do that, I'm going after BNSF. I'm going to break the company up and sell off the parts...one called ATSF and one called BN.

So watch out.
[;)] I have roughly $6.12 right now - can I have a chunk of the old CB&Q?

There'll be jobs for all. CB&Q how bout CEO? We'll even throw in a new computer and a laptop you can take home.

Mookie has now gone "completely furry" on us. I never knew chocolate cake could be so all consuming!

(At least let the armour yellow people move into their crystal cathedral for a few days before you move them to Kansas City and another new edifice!)

I wonder if Joe Koh's Mr. Matt sees a similarity here with dharmon taking over the world and "Pinky & The Brain"?

Fe Feathers

ps....placing an advance order for this new ATSF thing. No laptops please, I'd just wind up getting harrased by that thing like the current one!
Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west

To CSX Dispatcher. I work for CSX also as an engineer in the old CONRAIL territory. I have the same feelings that CSX is definitely in the crapper for the long haul. But we have learned that our new work order system is a duplicate of UP's. Our locomotives needing major repairs nedd to be done to UP specs. The payroll i have heard has been backed by UP with a loan to CSX. The railroad is starting to pinch pennies in all the weirdest places like oil changes on the vehicles and pre approving overtime. All the old timers who have been through 3 mergers already say this is what happens before one. I dont know when, but i have a good clue as with who.

Well, it's been five months and nothing yet. I'm not holding my breath...

The rumors are just that, pure rumors.
