You're right I did forget LaCrosse. At one time LaCrosse must have been a great train watching spot. CA&S(?) Chicago Attica and Southern(maybe?) I know PM was Pere Marquette-another great fallen flag if for nothing else it's name. <br />There is a picture in Don Ball's PRR book of a Lines West N1/N2 2-10-2 coming under the NYC Danville Branch at Hartsdale. That bridge could be a view block for modeling purposes although it would make neccesary the loss of Hartsdale Yard or at least a moving of same. <br />This topic got me to remembering raifaning this line during the PC days. I recall Alco's and EMD's running through Crown Point and parrelling US231 east from there to Hebron. I guess the Panhandle would be a good topic for a book or at least a section of a book on NW Indiana/Chicago Metro railroads.
