Thanks, Sis, but I don't need a locomotive here. Seven blocks away (6 1/2 blocks from my back yard) I have all of the locomotives I have time for, including plenty of SD70s and F40PHs. No Big Boys, but I did have a Challenger for a couple of days last year...

I go to work, and get plenty of SD38-2s (and occasionally an SD40-2, now) practically under me all day.

(6 1/2 blocks has its frustrations...you can hear the trains most of the time, but it's too late to do much about it by then. I can't see anything until I'm about a quarter-mile from the tracks, which are precisely 0.62 miles from the house via streets.)

Being relatively new to internet messaging, I would like some help with meanings of all these communications acronyms, such as LOL, LMAO, and so on. I'm sure they are abbreviations for commonly used phrases, but these two have me at a loss.

you are right Skeets - [:D] I am really chuckling this morning! It is so fun to come in an hour before I actually start to work and read the musings of a bunch of out-of-work comedians! But since I am as dedicated as the workers on the railroad, I always start work promptly at 6:30 am! I, too, like my job!
