The Rockford & Northern RR. It runs south from Rockford IL to Amboy IL (where it connects with the IC Gruger line), then on to a connection with the Rock Island west of Atkinson IL The R&N connects in Rockford with the Rock Valley Terminal, a switching line on Rockford's industrial south side.
