he Texas House funds the Texas Mobility Fund, which will provide the funds to built the Trans Texas Corridors. Rread about it here:

When TGV pulled out of building high speed rail in Texas some ten years ago, Texas would not provide the bonding authority. That is now ancient history! A bank also failed to provide the bonds.

With this initial installment, in a year of budget deficits and crisis, the Trans Texas Corridor plan starts. A grand scheme to build up to 4,000 miles of high speed rail, commuter rail, and freight rail lines in every sector of the state of Texas.

High speed rail maybe years away, but the funding mechanism is now reality.

You dont think Kay Hutchingson had anything to do with it, do ya? Heres hoping more people grasp just how fantastic this can be. Railroading done the way it should have been. If they had only started 40 years ago...
