Atomic Train Movie

What a brutal movie! All of the guys I worked with at BC Rail were truly embarrassed by the end product. Even grumpy old #1 seniority trainman Clyde Mulhall (the Movie Train Service conductor for this one) was left shaking his head in wonder! For you useless info buffs, you can see Clyde's mug on the X Files episode where a BCR Budd car was blown up at Porteau Cove. He was turning an angle***prior to the explosion scene.

The BC MOT railway inspectors were postively mortified by what took place on their watch. I hope that the regulatory fines that BCR incurred did not outweigh the revenue derived from that Movie Train.

As for the BCR website, CN took the bcrail.com domain name down for good in May.

Now, the only place to find "British Columbia Railway Co." on the web is as follows:

www.bcrproperties.com and then follow the links to BCRC to see what is left.
