CONCERNING THE Hybrid Locomotive: GE has been testing their hybrid locomotive on various short line railroads in and around the northern PA and Upper New York region since the summer of 04. According to the railsources I have talked to--GE is going after the market that has been successfully penetrated by the green goat hybrid locomotive. <br /> <br />Question: EMD has recently shipped their first SD-70Ace locomotive to the Union Pacific. Does anyone know if Ge has shipped thier first producion GEVO locomotive to any railroad yet ?
