I was assisant city engineer for a Milwaukee suburb, where there still are a few farms. I will never forget the person who called in to ask what the city could do about the farm next door. I asked what the problem was, and they said "they have cows". I again asked the problem, and they said "they smell bad". That farm was there for over 100 years. They just built that house in 199. I askedif they knew the farm was htere when they built the house. They said "yes, but it didn't smell then". Must have been in December.
