Mine is the WESTERN ILLINOIS TERMINAL & TRANSFER RR. [WITT RR]. This consists, at this time of a book-shelf diorama [in work]. The business of the WITT is to transfer freightcars from major carriers to and from a trucking terminal and local factories in the "Western Illinois Terminal Industrial park"

The RR is present-day and consists of very old but reconditioned equipment. The yard switcher is a Baldwin VO1000, the road switcher is a GP38. The yard office is an old caboose and the tool & supplies shed an old Soo Line boxcar.

Since it is only a small diorama at this time, it is static. Eventually it will interchange with my ELGIN, JOLIET & EASTERN.

Rich Witt
