Try turning your monitor 180 degrees.

Probably a little weight training with our monitors would be helpful to all our computer bound readers (and Trains.com staff). It wasn't our intent, however. The MP-235 cam is supplied by a private contractor. He had to take the camera down for repairs, and when he put it back up some glitches showed up. He is working on the problem and tells me it will be fixed soon.

Sorry for the upside down image, that problem is now fixed. We are still having problems with the controls, we have now ordered a new VISCA cable between the camera and the server, since all of these components were "fried" a couple of weeks ago...lightning we suspect. The control cable should be installed within a week. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Tom: with all the "heavy" dialogue going back and forth, it was a nice change of pace. Sorry about the equipment, but you must admit the 180 degree was kind of funny!

You know, it worked OK along as I could keep my chair on the ceiling!

If the "anti-gravity" concept isn't working for you, I suppose someone could also opt for a bit of yoga and practice doing a headstand in front of the monitor with the inverted image.

I have gotten a lot of early morning laughs out of this. Between the "wet window @ Rochelle" and the poor monitor, it has been very entertaining!

I'm told the webcam looks right side up in Australia so maybe we all need to move there

I've been told that Indy and Formula 1 race cars develop enough negative lift that they could run around on the ceiling if you can figure out how to hold it up there until it gets up to speed, so:

1. Get an Indy car or a Formula 1 car, your choice
2. Mount your monitor over the dash (they already have computers in them)
3. Solve the "hold it up there until it gets up to speed" problem
4. Drive around on your living room ceiling watching the webcam

Glad to have been some help,

Maybe the answer to your #3 is to take some of the "hot air" that's been generated in this discussion thread and use it to buoy up the car.

Just tried the 235 Webcam...and indication is it's not available now...I don't know if it's been available recently as I haven't watched it for some weeks now....Has anyone caught the "Swing Bridge" in the rotated open position...?
