I can't bring the article up, with or without the link, so I'm curious...was the man in the article Donald Traser? He was also the editor of the C&O Historical Society's Magazine for many years in the 1980s and 1990s, when I was still one of the contributing editors.Good memories!

I know Donald .....saw him a few months ago when he stopped by the Richmond Railroad Museum one day. (Old Dominion Chapter NRHS ) Donald always referred to it as the "Hysterical Society". The chapter worked with him to publish his VIRGINIA RAILWAY DEPOTS book some years back...I think it went into it's 3rd printing....now out of print , I believe. If I am not mistaken, he may have retired from CSXT a short while back.
Yes, the well-written one-page autobiography says he recently retired from CSX and plans retirement from his church organist position soon. Can you contact him about either having his autobiography submitted to Trains, perhaps with some photos, or else posted here? Thanks.
