[;)]

Re: Doggy.

Why not give him a chance to redeem himself? We all know that he screwed up, royally, but you're not just FLAMING Doggy, you're picking him up and BODY SLAMMING him over and over against broken glass!

He may or may not learn a lesson as for many of us it takes years to develop a mature way of looking and responding to life. Doggy will in time. He has no choice. A church elder once told me: Just keep living, you'll learn!

Instead of continuously punishing Doggy; help the guy out.. When he or others "screw up", don't launch torpedoes yet, let him know instead that he "messed up" and give him a cool solution. You would get much further. Consider that he is still a fellow railfan & modeler. If you keep rubbing sand in a young person's eyes, he will not learn but instead develop much deeper resentments that will, believe it or not affect him years later. Trust me, I know. I was a "knee-jerker" for years and just like Doggy paid the price for it. For several years my mouth helped make my life miserable.

BTW: In case you may be wondering,

I am not a "Bleeding Heart" Liberal. I'm very conservative in my values and upbringing. I'm now a high school shop teacher and half my students fit in to "Doggy's" category. Believe me, some do push me to the point where I want to grab or jerk them out of the chair and "QuadrupleSlap" them, but I've discovered that the cool approach does work. I'm not politically correct, and won't mince words with the kids but I also temper my approach with firm kindness when I chew them out. It works! On graduation day, my worst students almost always break out in tears and give me a hug. [:)][:D][C):-)][tup][4:-)][tup]

Peace and God Bless, Amigos!

[/quote]
People Give me a chance to redeme and would you stop torpedoeing me and I will always be on this forum until I die

DOGGY
