Take the locomotive involved and multiply the horsepower rating by the hours on the other RR between interchanges. Charge the other railroad the total for all of your locomotives on their railroad on a monthly basis and you have the basics. RRs do offset amounts owed against one another and the difference sometimes has to be paid in cash. All of this depends upon the agreements between the RRs involved. <br /> <br />LC
