I found another spot in Clinton, SC where you can see a nice number of trains. This place is called the Dover Connector. Here, CSX trains from the Monroe Sub (Hamlet, NC to Greenwood, SC) and the CN&L Sub (Laurens, SC to Columbia, SC) connects to run through the town of Clinton. I went there Friday for about 2 hours and saw 3 coal trains on the CN&L and Q675 and F761 on the Monroe Sub.
