Chased 3985 along the MOPAC from Kilgore to Longview Texas this afternoon. Running about an hour - hour and a half behind the advertised. Large numbers of locals out to see the train and a pretty good group of well behaved railfans. How well behaved? Managed to get around train even with road construction and city streets at rush-hour. Caught two more passes before it got to the yard. Don't know exactly what to call it but will take "lucky" over "good" any day... Got a few pictures in spite of less than great lighting conditions. Good luck on down the line, and go ahead, take that "sick day." Mainline Steam is required every now and then to maintain proper mental health...
