  • yes we all do

[:p]<<<<me seeing a steam engine going 60 MPH
    [:0]<<<<me seeing a train wreck
[:D]<<<me seeing 5 trains in a half hour
  • And this is a bad thing[%-)]?
Ride Amtrak. Cats Rule, Dogs Drool.
  • Definately not........... If ti was, the doctors would be on here 24/7 telling us about our disease and that they need to sucker us of our mone- uh they mean "helping us"

    Noah
  • Perhaps we are nuts, but in a good way!

While on the subject of these "diseases", on holidays this summer I bought a sign with the following on it:

    WARNING! CONTAGIOUS
    MODEL RAILROADER'S DIDEASE
    ADULT MALES VERY SUSCEPTIBLE
SYMPTOMS-Continual complaints about the need for a constructive hobby. Patient often has a blank expression. Kown to wander aimlessly around the basement or garage. Avoids chores if a new model railroad magazine arrives. Easily distracted near railway tracks and may deliberately try to become caught in traffic jams at level crossings. Utters mumblings such as "Decapod", "Dash 8", "2-8-2", etc. Will drive 60 miles in a blizzard for a photo of a new locomotive, but will forget to pick up the milk.
    NO KNOWN CURE-DISEASE NOT FATAL.
Bring patient to nearest train hobby store for temporary relief.

It was a real bargain at only $1. I'm going to put it up in my train room.
  • I'd like to hang a sign like that around my neck at train Shows! It'd be a big hit.

    Noah
  • If this be the worst of my medical conditions, I;ll gladly accept.
  • You must have this disease also, trainsrcool, since you are here with us![:D] But hey, this is one disease I don't mind having.[:)]
  • It's good that someone finally broke the silence on our disease! Along with this one, I suffer from Crappius Railroadius Picturus, Turn-out Derailmentus pissmeoffamus, frustrating n-scale codus 55us ballustium, and occasionally a bit of monatarium flowicum.
Is there help for the maximus railroadicum finnaticums?
