I went to Kansas over the Labor Day weekend to see some friends.  We discussed heading over to Parsons and points in southeast KS to do some railfanning.  Found out Saturday that the Schnable car, largest in the world (?) was making its way from Lebo to El Dorado so we grabbed another buddy and got to Cassoday just in time.  At 15 mph, it was easy to get ahead of it to get some good shots, along with all the other foamers!  All I can say is that thing is huge.

After it tied up, we headed ot Mattfield Green and caught a manifest with a BNSF in the lead (of course), followed by a CPR AC4400 and a Soo Line SD60 still in the white and red scheme.  Later we caught a ballast train with a white face green BNSF loco in the lead.

Overall, a very good weekend.
