    Today I saw...three CP Rails, NS locomotives, NJT locomotives, and CSX locomotives.

    Nice lash up. Railroads are always exchanging locomotives with each other. On the former Wisconsin Central mainline from Chicago (before CN), there were always locos from different roads.

    I saw a BN & BNSF Dou of SD40-2's and got a front row seat at the grade crossing!

    Saw SOO 6001 at Roberts Bank as the second of two loco's on a CP Rail intermodal train.

    Today I went railfaning and saw two trains. I also saw two NJT trains. These are the locomotives I saw...

    Train #1
    NS 9884-C40-9W (in primer)
    NS 6800-SD60M (still in Conrail)

    Train #2
    NS 9724-C40-9W
    NS 2540-SD70
    NS 3404-SD40-2 (still in Conrail)
    NS 5268-GP38-2 (In new horsehead logo)

    Train #3 (NJT)
    NJT 4204-GP40PH-2B (ex Conrail)

    Train #4 (NJT)
    NJT 4126-F40PH-2CAT

    Also placed this under the fallen flag topic.

    I saw BN or ex BN 7149 SB at Marietta, GA today on CSX. This unit was one of two SD40-2's modified to burn, I think, LPG. It now burns diesel but it still has the slanted radiators and special paint job( still in good condition BTW) it acquired during modification.

    Last Saturday i say a train in Echo canyon (between Evanston, Wyoming, and Ogden, Utah) it had a UP SD70 on the point and then somthing that kinda confused me... A CSX loco (also a SD70 if i remember right) and then another one which i believe was some sort of lease unit. I was just puzzled to see a CSX unit deep in the heart of UP country

    Here in NJ, UP's arnt rare anymore. They are a everyday thing now.
