  • I have a few movies on trains. Like, a Santa Fe movie, and a collection of steam locomotives.( Durango & Silverton).

  • I have collected about 20 videos over the years. They allow me to see and experience things and places that I never could any other way. I also buy videos about places I have been to see what sort of take other people have on it. Sometimes they video will bring out things about a familiar line that I had missed or hadn't thought about.

  • RR Videos bring me to places where I'll never see first hand.
When will Trains make available their fine RR productions on DVD...I'm holding off buying RR videos in the VHS format.

  • Having grown up with trains in the house, it's rather odd that I don't have any train videos. I suppose it's because the rest of my family doesn't appreciate them the way I do. I have looked at a few and have been tempted.

  • Just bought the great series originally broadcast on the Travel Channel some years ago. It is called "Railway Adventures Across Europe" with Bernie Kopell as host.

  • Love US late steam early diesel especially UP but live in Irealnd and Australia so the only way to see live action is on video. Just bought "UP Steam on the Double". Will probably only buy on DVD in future - easier to capture good still shots from that media.

  • I own several dozen videos. They are pretty evenly split between historic and current railway preservation topics.

My interests tend toward very specific topics. I am an unabashed steam fan and am keenly interested examples of excellence in the railway preservation field.
