  • I have never heard of anyone in DeWitt county that hunted on the tracks. They know not to, the railroad police get them quick if they do.
  • Hunting on the tracks not that common up her but I've seen it , heck, the snowmobeilers have their fun on the right of way also. I think there is no problem if the walk besid the tracks and hunt, heck I see it all the time but the thing that gets me some what interested at their motives is when they walk down the middle of the main line, but usally are out of sight when the trains come, mabe I sould dawn my camo hunting gear for railfanning. LOL[(-D]

PENNFAN: where the heck are they hunting, by the yards? when they are hunting around here the, parts that they do hunt on the tracks any way are usally low trafic lines with one to sevin trains a day and are so dessolate if they are spotted by an engineer he wouldn't bother to call it in any whay.

All I do is skeet shoot very fun, like to go partrage hunting this year.
  • They hunt on ranches.
