TEEN RAILFAN PLACE- LETS TALK TRAINS !

  • or we could use AIM.

anyhoo, CN isnt as bad as some of the color scemes i've seen. union pacific is just bland. blech. they need more grey and less yellow

    Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.

  • Do you realize, what would happen if UP got a new paint scheme? You still wouldn't like it, you would find something, and all the old timers would gripe and moan, about changing a paint scheme that had been used forever. It is a catch 22 folks; I however think it sure makes for a sharp looking streamliner. I think it would be great to do a special locomotive for recruiting new workers, really stir up rail fans; it could look like my signature.

Up actually has a new paint scheme. They've removed the red stripe around the sill, and replaced it with a yellow reflective strip instead. Here's a photo(not by me):

Not a whole lot different, but still new.

  • Does it really matter if the people using this site are teens or not? If you have something to offer then contributer to the forums, but I don't like the idea of a teen only forum. Most importantly I don't care how old the people using this site are and I don't think it should be an issue that is brought up in the forums. For this reason I am not telling whether or not I am a teen.
Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!
  • since Nora had the WSOR sign out if you come to Flordia around the FEC you might get a hat when your wearing WSOR stuff like I did

  • Teen railfan, right here (I'm 16)! I usually don't come here because the forums are overwhelmingly big, so I usually hang out at Train-Sim.com, but hardly any activity there. I model trains in HO scale and also in MSTS. I also enjoy taking pictures of trains and railfanning in general.
  • Mousy, I noticed you made the point that the SD40-2 is the best locomotive ever made-
Hundreds of railroad employes agree. I live in the midwest and still see 40-2s, some old and ricketey, and some frshly overhauled! Those things are BULLETPROOF.
Most popular locomotive in North America.

    Happy Railfanning!
