Trackside with Erik and Mike, Vol. 12: July 26, 2004

  • Even though pic# 1's view of one of you paceing this train at twillight (so it seems) is very artistic. I voted for pic# 2 as, I found it to be more informative, and I could peice together a story from that picture's features and details...#1 looks like a book cover so it definately has its own merrits. Very Good Work Guys!!!
  • The silhouette is nice, and I like that you can see some of the loco's color, but any photo that has a reflection in it will be my choice. And the sky in No. 2 is beautiful. And 3 colorful locos. I really like No. 2.
  • Photo #1 has a 'sundog' in it. In the sky a partial halo around the sun, casting a rainbow-like reflection. It's not a photo flaw as some may think. It basically balances two hobbies of mine... Weather phenomena and trains. Again, like another comment, you got a 2 for one photo, here.
