I am looking for information regarding local steam route from the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area to Appleton (WI) to New London and further north...possibly into the western part of the UP or to Duluth MN. I recall this from the 1950's and it basically was a local "milk" run, and used the the last of the steam power. If anyone knows what type of engines may have been used for the power (before diesels), I would appreciate hearing. I hope to model this local, and need all the information I can get...including possible sources. Thanks Jim

it might be easier to get timetables of C&NW commuter trains around chicago than to look for mixed trains in cheeseland,even if you have a copy of the book '"mixed trains daily"[B)][:o)][xx(][:P][bow][banghead][C):-)][bday][(-D][#ditto][soapbox]
