For that matter make it any color -- except Uncle Pete's BEIGE -- YUK !!

  • UNION PACIFIC RULES, your user name is illegally used, change your user name. Just kidding[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]. I would like to point out that there was only one B36-8 ever built, and it was rebuilt into a B39-8. I like second generation diesels, so I voted for GP40X, GP50, and GP60 series. I think GEs are too dominant across the country. It appears you know your engines, it took me ten years to figure out what an AC6000CW convertible or B36-8 was. This is a great poll, contrary to what you may think. I'm twelve and I have 135 posts, although it's quality, not quanity that counts. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Check out my favorite 70s or cab unit paint scheme.

    Well said Dougal.

Of course an American poll is unlikely to list my all time favourite (diesel) locomotive: -

Misha Black's "Western" Class 52 Co-Co Diesel Hydraulic -- I think that they were/are only 2200 bhp -- but they were smooth and fast.

    Here's one -- http://cjm.fotopic.net/photo.php?id=1232878 [:D]

    [:D]-- NO IT'S NOT A G.E. !! [:D]

Seriously, though -- No they were/are Maybach (German) prime movers, I think.

[:D]I like this "Have Fun" stuff !![:D]

Thanks U.P.R. and Dougal -- next thing you know, you'll be getting more posts than the cats, birds and philosophers on the other channel !!
