Scotchlite

  • I think Scotchlite looks cool at first, but after awhile it can get annoying. It does provide neat effects.

  • I believe you are talking about the reflective strips on locomotives and some railroad cars.

    If so, then I readily approve of it. There are many grade crossings in rural areas that have no lights or bells. Out in the country it can be pretty dark at night. Applying this reflective strip to each car is an excellent method of improving crossing safety. I am very much "for" this idea.
  • It is definitely a plus. Anything that can help improve grade crossing safety needs to be used.
    The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
