Wiring for post war tenders

  • I have just recently re-acquainted myself with my trains from many years ago.  I am beginning to repair any problems that I find with wiring that has become brittle and needs to be replaced.  I am re-wiring a Lionel 6466WX Tender and am wondering if there is a standard gauge wire to be used in it's repair.  I want to make it as original as I can in the process.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

May your flanges always stay BETWEEN the rails

  • Thanks for the advice and help.  I'll get it eventually after I learn how to use this correctly.
