This is what you will reshape the Kadee trip pin to resemble. Normally, when in use, the trip pin comes closest, but does not touch the mounting screw. It will take practice to get the right balance between wide open coupler and not touching the screw.
*WARNING* Kadee trip pins are brittle, bend them with great care!
