PW&NJ 59-ton switcher number 2 pulls the local through the fictional New Jersey town of Pearson on this sunny fall day in the late 1970s. This N-scale locomotive was built from a Mehano RSD-15 shell and a Kato 11-106 powered chassis, and is based on a prototype used by the Bush Terminal Railroad from Brooklyn, NY. The diorama was built using the remains of a children's magnetic alphabet letter box, some spare track, leftover Play-Doh, ground parsley, paper model buildings, homemade ground foam trees, and was photographed out the back window of my house to get the natural sunlight and background.
