Soil sampling service on a state-wide basis in real time was the basis for this fantasy 1960s box car conversion; today, they would just FedEx overnight a styrofoam sample box to the college ag lab- but what a great inspiration to pursue higher education it might have been to those kids who would see it in the small towns!
