NYPD on Atlantic Ave.

Two NYPD police cruisers are parked on Atlantic Avenue in Queens. My 10 year old son collects 1/87 vehicles and we designed and built this 2x4 diorama together to display the collection. He creates a variety of scenes with the cars which are not glued in place. The businesses are old Pola/ Model Power kits modified with new, area-appropriate signs and photo-etched gates. The kits are 25 years old and still some of my favorites.
