Here is a picture of what my mind see's when I daydream. A somewhat sunny, late fall day and I catch a westbound passing another freight waiting in the hole heading east. It's Michigan, It's wartime, and I'm too young to serve. So the only shooting I do is with my dad's camera. Ofcourse, I dream in colour for passenger trains!
What your really looking at is a Pere Marquette (pron: 'pair', not pee-yaire. 'Marr' 'kett') Mikado by Athearn, #1025. Behind her, and alongside are cars from various makers, especially 'Accurail'. All the HO models are sitting on Atlas Snap Track c100. The scene was shot with a Sony 7.3mp digital camera, and edited on a Win based PC using MS Paint.
Total time: about one hour plus 2 minutes for the daydream. Drool factor: Priceless!
