An SP, AC9 passing burbank Junction Tower heading timetable Westward.  This brass HO model belongs to a friend that was an Engineer for the SP and ran AC9's on the Modoc Line in Northeastern California during the early 1950s.  He says these 'locomotive were very easy to operate'.  Origionally they were coal fired in New, Mexico and Arzonia, but later converterd to oil when working in Califorina.
