With the super help of the MR Forum (Electrical and DCC) , the suggestion was made to use a diode on the Model Power Signal - a super schematic was also included in the discussion. As a result I was able to rewire the signal to create a STOP signal and a SLOW TO CLEAR from the same signal (from the factory it is only a red or a green would be lite).
