N-scale inexpensive signals
Posted by msprater on Sunday, December 21, 2003 6:47 PM
There's a definite paucity of inexpensive, plastic, US-type lineside N-scale signals. The only thing I can find are plastic sets containing searchlight signal 2-track bridges. Anyone know of a provider of assembled or cast plastic searchlight, 2- or 3-light block or any other low-cost, non-working signals similar to those once available in HO (from Bachman, I think)? User-applied plastic colored lenses would be a plus. I'd like to use these as sight indicators for block boundaries and track breaks without suffering the cost of working/wired devices nor the time involved in kit-building. Thanks.

Have you checked Walthers N/Z 2004 catalogue (or their website)? I could have sworn I'd seen a pretty good variety in there. Maybe I'm thinking of the HO catalogue, though...
