Fantastic layout, and I really like the fact that you have horse drawn wagons to go with the steam era.

I too will have logging flat cars, and you have now inspired me to have a crane on one of the logging cars.

Yes it is a fictional version of the Pacific Northwest.

I have MRC Syncro Sound mounted under the Layout, it is economical and sounds pretty good & it works with DCC. I don't have the $green$ for a sound decoder small enough to fit in the non-spacious tender.
