Are thease good loco's? I see that they are both available in a wide variety of paint scemes (UP is one of 'em, yeah!). Basiclly I want to know if thease locos are good or bad. Does anyone have one of them? [?]

They are excellent locomotives. And it is Erie-built as in Erie, PA.
Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California

I've got an Erie-built in CNW livery. It's a superb loco, will pull almost anything - I've had it hauling fairly long and heavy intermodal trains with little or no wheelspin. It looks great as well! Now all I have to do is find the other road number to make a pair.... (mine is numbered 6001B, so I guess Lifelike also made 6001A, scanning eBay and any hobby stores I visit in the hope of finding it!). Interestingly, CNW never bought any Erie-Built B units.

I have some P2k's and they run like clockwork, look very nice, great detail like working doors, etched grills (E9), cab interior, wipers etc. and at a good price
