traction tires on rivarossi 484 Northern

i have a Rivarossi 484 fef northern, would like to know if traction tires should be on the same axle, mine are on the front right and left rear, if so which axle should they be on. thanks jim.

If that is how they came, then it is probably right, although it does seem a little strange. Traction tire equipped drivers may have a grove cut into the tread of the wheel to accept the tire, so you may want to (carefully!) peel up the tire and see if there is a groove. If so, it is probably on the correct driver.

Traction tires should both be on the same axle. For a 4-8-4, they should probably be on the 3rd axle.
