Greetings,

I was curious how the Trainline by Walthers GP 9 runs and quality?

Is it worth buying?

It runs good but the shell has a low level of detail

Hope this helps!

I purchased one in NS road. I was rather impressed with the smooth motor and reaction to power. I have no issues with the detail level, but then I dont sweat the small details. In fact I just converted this engine to DCC and it runs very well. For the price I found it to be a bargain.

They are a good value, but be sure to test the unit before purchase, as some
early editions had some quality control problems, mostly fixable but annoying
things (e.g. electric contacts not touching wheels)
