Yes, a Broadway Limited heavy 2-8-2. I hope they're released in time to get here for Christmas, but if not I'll just have to be patient.

Does a duck quack?, a bear ... in the woods? Of course model railroading is on my list for Christmas even if I have to buy it myself (the order has already been sent). Last year my wife surprised me with a Lionel set. Since I'm in the scale side of S, this was quite a surprise. But hey it's kinda fun. I'm thinking of exapnding it this year around the tree.
Enjoy
Paul

I didn't make a list this year because the room I want to use is still occupied. I would love to get an D & H railroad started but I'll have to wait another year. Oh well

Not anymore. I've reached the age where I do my own hobby buying. It gets too complicated to try to have anyone else get anything for me. Except for books; those are always acceptable.

If you celebrate Christmas what kind of model railroader would you possibly be if you didn't have at least one wish item on the list. If you don't celebrate Christmas, this would be a good time to start so you can establish a list. Real model railroaders don't need a list but every bit helps. More then likely you'll get the wrong thing but it's the thought, remember :))

This year, yes. I told the wife my old throttle died, so a new one would be acceptable. Normally I don't make a Yuletide wish list, but this year she asked me what I'd like... (and almost all of the stuff I want would require a lot of detailed explanation and cross border mail ordering).

I voted no because railroading is not a very popular subject around this neck of the woods and the only hobby shop in the area does not stock much railroad stuff. I use mailorder to get my stuff. There is nothing available locally and the closest railroad is almost 200 miles away

yes but it's a present to myself from myself. I think it is easier because my missus gets awfully confused by trains and trying to explain is more trouble than it is worth.
